Status System for 8166A/BThe status system for the Agilent 8166A/B Lightwave Multichannel System returns the status of 17 module slots. The Operational/Questionable Status Summary Registers consists of two levels, as described by Figure 5 . Module slots 1 to 14 affect the Level 0 summary register as described in Figure 4 . Bit 0 of the Level 0 summary registers represents the summary of the status of module slots 15, 16, and 17. The Level 1 summary registers contain an individual summary for each of these module slots.
